I love LeapFrog toys, and this product did not disappoint! It's bright color, sturdy design, and musical tones provided lots of entertainment. What I loved most about this product is that it is featured as a book. Research has shown that reading to children is one of the best ways to get them ready for school. But let's face it, sometimes us parents, between laundry, dishes, and carpooling, just do not have time to sit down and read to our children. The LeapFrog 100 Words Book encourages children to engage with books at an early age. It's pages are sturdy and are easily washable with a damp cloth to clean up after sticky fingers.

What is also so great about the Leap Frog 100 Words Book is that it has both an English and a Spanish option. Although we are not necessarily trying to teach Spanish in our house, exposing children early to the vocabulary gives them a great start if they decide to learn later on. My niece who has just turned 18 months loved playing with the Words Book, and it kept her happy, giggling, and content on a long car ride. I also love the fact that it has a handle for easy carrying. I also like that there is some flashy lights associated with the toy, but it is not over-stimulating.
