Magformer's Walking Robot set is a very durable magnetic construction set that supports creative thinking, engineering, problem solving, and logic skills. It is hands-on from the start (unless you want to start by following the step by step instructions in the idea book) and any child that likes to build will be engaged for hours on end. My son was one of them!

We got the package in the mail and he was so excited to see the robots walking on the front of the box. Without out even looking at the booklet he started to build. The first robot fell over so he had to go back to work. He realized that weight and symmetry were key elements in his design so he made some adjustments and he was successful. He was in his room for more than an hour, completely engaged!

I'd recommend this product to any little builder that likes robots!
