This book has all of the Texas standards clearly aligned with lesson plans to implement in the classroom. Each lesson has vocabulary words, activities, assessment methods and examples. I really liked all of the vocabulary words used in each lesson and will be using some of them in my curriculum next year. This is a great book for any teacher (teaching grades 1-6) looking to dive deeper into teaching the basics of mathematics.
The scripted critical thinking prompts in these books are excellent, and really make this textbook stand out from others on the market. The questions especially help new teachers provide deeper student learning.
